Looking back: this was our year 2024

Péter Müller's thought that "The secret of durability is continuous renewal" sums up perfectly the year 2024 of Gloster Infocommunications Plc. In the past months, the company has achieved a number of milestones that have not only confirmed the company's growth, but also its long-term strategy. Let's take a closer look at what made this year special!
Stock market breakthrough: double investor base and eight times turnover
At the beginning of the year, an old dream came true: Gloster was admitted to the standard category of the Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE). This move brought not only prestige but also tangible results. By June, the number of investors had doubled, while the turnover of shares had increased eightfold. This result reflects not only confidence in the company, but also the fact that Gloster is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for investors.
Merger: Hungary's largest Microsoft cloud partner born
In February, we signed our first major merger agreement: the merger of Gloster Cloud Zrt. and Systemfarmer Zrt. created Hungary's largest Hungarian-owned Microsoft cloud services partner. During the integration, a professional team of nearly 40 people specialised in innovative Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform was formed. The legal closing of the merger is expected in 2025, but it is already clear that this collaboration could provide a significant boost to the company's growth plans.
Global customers and contract renewals
DDuring the summer, we managed to extend contracts with all major global clients. Well-known companies such as BMW, Audi and Sony Music continue to provide Gloster with regular foreign exchange-based revenue. These partnerships not only create a solid financial base but also strengthen the company's international presence.
Portfolio clean-up: focus on strategic growth
To increase efficiency, Gloster has embarked on a portfolio clean-up. As part of this, we sold FF.next and Gloster Networks Kft., which focuses exclusively on the Hungarian market. This freed up more resources to focus on the company's faster growing areas, such as international markets and cloud services. Gloster aims to expand in the UK and German markets, and an active presence in these countries could play a key role in further strengthening the company's position in Europe.
I wish you all a Happy Holidays!
