Presentation of the project content:

Within the framework of the project, innovation technology development was implemented in connection with the plastic processing production activity of Gloster Infokommunikációs Kft. Digital manufacturing is more IT-focused than traditional manufacturing. This means that production preparation is completely digitalised. 3D CAD drawings are produced digitally and checked and corrected by software running on local hardware. The individual production instructions for the production machine are prepared in electronic format. The process is completely paperless and significantly optimised for efficiency.

Digital manufacturing is the process of using CAD or other data to control an additive manufacturing machine that produces usable parts. Such parts may be, for example, product components, various production tools or replacement parts of production tools (various accessories or components). Digital manufacturing does not involve casting, machining or moulding. Products are not made by removing or moulding the material, but by adding it layer by layer. 

In the framework of the project, the purchase of equipment and hardware was carried out at the branch of Gloster Infokommunikációs Kft. in Erdőkövesd, in connection with the digital production activity.
