As part of the project, Gloster Infokommunikációs Kft. implemented an innovative technological development related to its plastic processing manufacturing activities. Digital manufacturing is much more IT-focused than traditional manufacturing. This means that production preparation is carried out entirely in a digitalized manner. 3D CAD designs are created digitally, and their verification and error correction is also performed by software running on local hardware. Individual manufacturing instructions are prepared in electronic format for the manufacturing machine. The entire process is paperless and has been significantly optimized for efficiency.
Manufacturing is carried out using innovative technology. Digital manufacturing is the process of controlling a machine that performs additive manufacturing to produce usable parts using CAD or other data. Such components may include, for example, product elements, various production tools, or replacement parts for manufacturing equipment (various accessories or components). Digital manufacturing does not involve casting, machining, or molding. Products are not made by removing or shaping material, but by adding layers.
As part of the project, equipment and hardware devices were purchased for digital manufacturing activities at the Gloster Infokommunikációs Kft branch in Erdőkövesd.
