Network and infrastructure activities

Our network and IT infrastructure team has decades of specialist expertise in installing and operating large, nationwide systems. Gloster has specialist knowledge in the deployment and operation of large-scale IT networks and systems, with professionals certified by most of the world's leading vendors (Cisco, Aruba, One Identity - Balabit, Fortinet). Building on this knowledge, it provides value-added network services in LAN, wifi networking devices, firewalls, complemented by license sales. Further growth of the business will be based on, among other things, the proliferation of 5G and Wi-6 technologies, the strengthening of IoT as a digitalisation trend, the expanding enterprise data centre needs and extensive distributor relationships.

The Systems Integration business unit also offers IT engineering design and deployment, cyber defence, private cloud, proactive monitoring services, where companies' IT infrastructure requires high availability while facing rapidly changing and increasingly frequent cyber attacks. That's why the business's professional management team has created the Gloster Managed Service Center (GMSC), where it supports nearly 300 different technical competencies from ten different vendors' products and provides proactive managed and monitoring services 24 hours a day.

Cyber defence

Attacks on IT infrastructure are becoming increasingly complex and stealthy, with new vulnerabilities and threats emerging every day. The number of industries affected and the importance of data and IT security continues to grow - EY's survey shows that in 2020, the impact of the Coronavirus increased the number of cyber attacks by 300%, often against companies that previously operated in typically unthreatened industries (e.g. healthcare).

As an IT company, we also feel the importance of systems and data security in our own operations,
That's why Gloster's Systems Integration business has leveraged its knowledge gained over the past two decades to provide its customers with solutions that support secure operations.

In addition to the prestigious partner certifications it has earned, Gloster also represents several global brands in Hungary:

Fortinet, Sophos, Progress Kemp, FireEye, Holm Security

Smart buildings

Our smart buildings team are experts in technologies that make entire buildings and offices sustainable, from concept to design. Within this business, we provide structured cabling services, optical cabling services, installation of security systems (smart alarms, access control systems, etc.). We have a number of industry references and our own infrastructure at our customers' disposal. The two main manufacturers we represent are Fluke, R&M and Ajax Systems.

The company's former smart buildings business was strengthened in 2019 with the acquisition of Cableline Technologies Ltd., which added additional professionals and manufacturing competencies to our organisation.
